Oh and I forgot to mention that I would like to have one that I could get out and handle sometimes, so therefor one easy to catch, does not freak out or bite… ball pythons are easy to handle right?

I always wanted a snake but most snakes eat mice or poor baby mice and it makes me wanna cry and choke the darn snake to let go of the mouse! lol So is there any small pet snake out there that eats something like crickets only or something? I have had many pets before. 5 rabbits, ranaway one died, bunches of fish, pihranna ate 2, a lovebird and 2 bearded dragon lizards. the lizards were my brothers but i helped take care of them cause i like them alot. they died in the end. my dad gave the bird and fish away when we moved, so now the onyl pet we have had in over a year is this small turtle that my brother and I are taking care of for my friends until they get back from visiting family, but they might stay there so i think we’ll have to keep the turtle.

I really want a pet snake and my uncle used to have one so he would really help out, and my mom was used to having pets in her youth cause of her brother. my mom just doesn’t think my brother and i deaseve to have pets. How can we convince her that we will take care of this pet although we’ve made mistakes before?

ok my boyfriend just got a pet snake and we’ve never had a snake before. its a ball python. can it be held a lot? plus it feels cold and we have a heat rock in there but it doesn’t lay on it alot. and we can use any other help info.

My husband and I have 4 cats. Before we moved in together he had 2 corn snakes. he gave them up, because the cats were climbing on top of the tank and generally harassing the snakes. Can pet cats and pet snakes live happily in the same home? Any recommendations for happiness for both creatures? Thank you!
