I’ve always wanted a snake or a lizard, and I am willing to pay for it with all my money [Cage, food, water, medicals, ETC.] But the only problem is, my dad hates Reptiles and Rodents. Wondering how I could convince him?

Just put my red-tail boa for swim with me and a couple friends in my salt-water pool. Is the pool water safe for my snake or will the chlorine and salt harm him? I also washed him off in the shower after but im just curious to see if it is safe.
