I dont understand why anyone would want a pet snake.
What kind of emotions does it show. I just don’t understand it myself.. please explain.
What do people get out of having a pet snake?

Idk. Theres just something about it that appeals to me. I want to spend my life caring for snakes and I want to have a career that has to do with helping and/or studying them. I am obsessed.
bitten
idk either, I think they think it is cool
I have 3, and I guess I would say I enjoy it. Really, I believe the snakes should be left in the wild to live their lives, but since they have become part of the pet trade there are so many people that dont take care of them right. They need heat, good substrate, etc. I figure I can take care of them better than alot of people, so I might as well have one and give it a decent life in captivity.
So that people can ask silly questions….
i had a snake, but it as one you can hold and he loved me, he would go everywhere with me. its the same as my fish…. their pets too, you cant hold them, but you can watch them and feel so relaxed! i love my fish as much as my cat and dog. my snake was my fave tho. emotions it shows? tranquil and calm. attention to detail. snakes are very interesting creatures and it takes alot of love and care to make them live long lives. they require more attention then you think. its something that some people just feel deep in their souls.
well its the same as having a pet fish, or lizard, or hamster, or even dog or cat.. they’re pets and we luv em’!
I just wanna be cool.
That’s the only reason.
Idiot. Not the question asker, the first response.
I enjoy reptiles. Nothing else need be said.
Why do you like cats? or dogs?
