I would like a pet snake. i have never had one so I would like one that isn’t but so difficult to keep up with and take care of. Would like an inexpensive snake that does not mind being handled.

Cornsnakes hands down are the easiest to take care of. They don’t require expert husbandry, are forgiving of mistakes and are generally hardy. Almost all will readily take frozen/thawed mice and most are docile. Babies can be a bit more skittish due to their small size but if you have the chance to pick out one, try holding various ones to find the one that is the mellowest. Reptile shows are a good place to get inexpensive cornsnakes directly from breeders or reptile stores. Most petstores will have huge markups on snakes that is more than you’d pay even if you had one shipped directly from a breeder. They come in a vast variety of colors and patterns as well. You can find out more information on Cornsnakes at or read my care sheet if you like at my website.

it really depends on what you want, if you want a not so big, snake, easy to care etc… get a corn snake, but if u like me, want a medium size, super docile, get a ball python, they are soo tame is crazy, i have 2, and i LOVE them

A Ball Python would be best. They can be cheap and don’t mind being handled a lot. But don’t touch it for probably a day after feeding. For more info on Ball Pythons go to this website
