Why does my pet snake stretch itself next to me?

If a lay down on the sofa or in bed it always comes to me and lies in a straight line next to me. Why is this?

Faith Mutti August 22, 2011 at 4:24 pm: as j m said he/she is trying to get the most of your body heat, another possibility would be that he/she is quite tame and like the sent of you, i haven’t had corn snakes for very long and when ever i lay down they always try to escape from me, so your quite lucky to have a snake like that as many people don’t.
